WHAT WE BELIEVE

The Bible is the inspired Word of God, a revelation from God to men, the infallible rule of faith and conduct, and superior to conscience and reason, but not contrary to reason (2 Tim. 3:15-17; 1 Pet. 1:23-25; Heb. 4:12).

The one true God has revealed Himself as the eternally self-existent, self-revealed “I AM,” and has further revealed Himself as embodying the principles of relationship and association, by simultaneously existing as Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Deut. 6:4; Mark 12:29; Isa. 43:10, 11; Matt. 28:19).

Man was created good and upright, for God said, “Let us make man in our image and after our likeness.” Man, by voluntary transgression, fell, and his only hope of redemption is in Jesus Christ, the Son of God (Gen. 1:26-31; Gen. 3:17; Rom. 5:12-21).

The Grace of God, which brings salvation, has appeared to all men, through the preaching of repentance toward God and through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ; man is saved by the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, and being justified by grace, has become heir of God according to the hope of eternal life (Titus 2:11; 3:5-7; Rom. 10:13-15; Luke 24:47).

The Church is the holy Body of Christ, the habitation of God through the Spirit, with divine appointments for the fulfillment of her great commission. Each believer is an integral part of the Church, and their names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life (1 Thess. 2:4).

We are lifelong learners of God’s Word, rooted and formed by truth. Like a tree planted by streams of water, we are nourished by Scripture and flourish in every season.

We pursue God daily through His Word. We are teachable, rooted, and growing—people whose lives are shaped not by culture, but by Scripture. We communicate truth in ways everyone can understand, making the deep things of God accessible to all.

We are marked by love—loving God fully and loving people deeply. This is the highest calling of every believer.

  • John 13:34–35 — The world will know us by our love. 

  • 1 John 4:7–8 — Whoever loves knows God. 

  • 1 Corinthians 13:1–3 — Without love, nothing else matters. 

Expanded Identity Statement:
Love is our defining characteristic. We pursue God with all our heart and reflect His love to others—across differences, disagreements, and difficulties. We don’t just talk about love—we live it.

We are not consumers—we are co-laborers with God, created on purpose to build, create, and contribute to His Kingdom.

  • 1 Corinthians 3:9 — We are God’s fellow workers. 

  • Genesis 1:27–28 — Made in God’s image to create and steward.

Expanded Identity Statement:
We reject passive faith. God has invited us into partnership with Him, and we use our gifts, ideas, and influence to build what matters for eternity. We create, innovate, and contribute because we reflect a creative God. We don’t react to culture, we partner with God in creating the culture of heaven on earth.

We worship Jesus not just with songs, but with surrendered lives that honor Him in everything we do.

  • John 4:23–24 — Worship in spirit and truth. 

  • Psalm 95:1–6 — Come, let us worship and bow down. 

  • Colossians 3:17 — Do everything in the name of Jesus.

Worship is our lifestyle. We lift up the name of Jesus with our words, our work, and our witness. Every moment becomes an opportunity to glorify Him.

We live open-handed lives because we serve an endlessly generous God who gave us everything in Christ.

  • 2 Corinthians 9:6–8 — God loves a cheerful giver and provides abundantly. 

  • Acts 20:35 — It is more blessed to give than to receive.

Expanded Identity Statement:
We give freely—our time, treasure, mercy, kindness, and resources—because we have first received from God. Generosity is not something we do; it is who we are. We trust God as our provider and live to bless others.
